Psychologia cognitiva est studium rationum mentis sicut "attentio, usus linguae, memoria, perceptio, conscientia psychica solutio quaestionum, creativitas, et cogitatio."[1][2] Multum ex opere a psychologia cognitiva deducto in alias investigationis psychologicae disciplinas hodiernas digestum est, inter quas sunt psychologia educationalis, psychologia socialis, psychologia personalitatum, psychologia abnormalis, psychologia explicationaria, psychologia evolutionaria et oeconomica.
