Nemobiinae sunt subfamilia orthoperorum familiae Trigoniidarum,[1] in superfamilia Grylloideorum descripta. Vivunt per totum orbem terrarum, saepissime inter strata humi folia. Typus subfamiliae est Nemobius.[2]

Nemobiinae sunt parva insecta pleraque minora, 15 mm longitudine, nec tam robusta quam aliae Gryllidae. Et thorax et abdomen saetosa sunt. Quattuor aut quandoque tres spinae longae et mobiles super apicem abdominis portant. Ovipositor modo longus et rectus tamquam acus, modo brevis et curvus tamquam acinaces est.[3] Longitudo alarum variatur. Color plerumque pullus est, quo Nemobiinae se in foliis stratis et circa sedes plantarum celant. Saepe die moventur, et satis crebrae in silvis pratisque sunt. Omnivorae sunt. Ducentae fere species descriptae sunt.[4]

Vox Nemobiinarum remissior quam vox Trigoniinarum esse solet.[5]
