Tertia expeditio sacra ab anno 1189 usque ad 1192 facta est, dirigentibus imperatore Friderico Barbarossa regibusque Ricardo I Angliae et Philippo Augusto Franciae.

Die 21 Ianuarii 1188 Gisortii Cruce signati sunt reges Philippus II, Henricus II, archiepiscopi Gualterus Rothomagensis et Balduinus Cantuariensis, episcopi Philippus Bellovacensis, Reginaldus Carnotensis, comites Ricardus Pictaviae, Philippus Flandrensis, Theobaldus Blesensis, Rotrocus Perticensis, Henricus Campaniensis, Robertus I Drocensis (qui mox mortuus est) aliique nonnulli.[1]
