Maria Shelley (Anglice Mary Shelley, nata Mary Wollstonecraft Godwin Londinii die 30 Augusti 1797; ibidem mortua die 1 Februarii 1851) fuit Anglica auctrix. Mater sua Maria Wollstonecraft fuit. Mythistorias, fabulas, ludos scaenicos commentariaque de itineribus conscripsit: operum autem omnium quidem clarissimum mythistoria Frankenstein, anno 1818 edita.

Maria cognomen accepit a marito Percy Bysshe Shelley, poëta et philosophus, cum quo itinera fecit per Italiam, Franciam et Helvetiam. Ipsa Maria Shelley scripsit[1] anno 1816, prope Genavam, se primum fabulam concepisse quae postea aucta mythistoriam Frankenstein constituit.
