Ioannes III Ducas Batatzes (Graece Ἰωάννης Δούκας Βατάτζης; natus anno circiter 1192; mortuus die 3 Novembris 1254) fuit imperator Byzantinus qui, Constantinopoli a militibus quartae expeditionis sacrae debellato, in urbe Nicaea regnavit. Fuit filius ut videtur Basilii Batatzae. In matrimonium duxit Irenam Lascarinam et ex ea genuit Theodorum Ducam Lascarem imperatorem futurum; postea duxit Constantiam de Hohenstaufen.
