Prodynorphina sive proenkephalina B, etiam praeprodynorphina est hormon et polypeptidum et opioides, signa transductui et communicationi cellulari illatum. Prodynorpinae genum et endometrio uteri[1] et striato cerebri[2] exprimitur; locus geni chromosomate 20 invenitur. Iam polymorphismi geni cum dependentia opioidorum coniuncti putantur[3], quod postea in parte incertum aestimatur[4]. Prodynorphina pars fundamentalis endorphinarum est, quae sunt nuntii chemici intracerebrales dolorem antecapiendi, et nexus motuum animi formandi.

Mutatio genetica geni ataxiam spinocerebellarem typi 23 (SCA23) perficit[5].
