In physica, Lepton (-onis, n) est particula elementaria cum turbo 1/2. Leptona est de familià Fermion, alter quam quark. Sunt duodecim leptona (particulae anti-particulaeque): Electron, Positron Muon, anti-muon, Tau lepton, Antitauon, Electron neutrino, Electron antineutrino, Muon neutrino, Muon antineutrino, Tau neutrino, et Tau antineutrino.
