Obsidio Hierosolymorum

Prima expeditio sacra fuit bellum anno 1095 ab Urbano II Papa motum, qui Alexium I, imperatorem Imperii Byzantini, adiuvando speravit duas ecclesias apostolicas reconciliatum iri. Eadem expeditione etiam speravit Hierosolyma a Musulmanis liberatum iri, qui Antiochia capta ea anno 1071 expugnaverant.

Hierosolyma a Christianis die 15 Iulii 1099 capta est.
