Romanus Darowski
Romanus Darowski (natus Szczepanowice in urbe Polonica die 12 Augusti 1935; mortuus die 15 Ianuarii 2017) fuit iesuita, philosophus, professor in ordine philosophico Academiae Ignatianum Cracoviae.
Vita et activitas
[recensere | fontem recensere]Societatem Iesu ingressus est anno 1951. Ordines sacros recepit anno 1961 Varsaviae. Philosophiae studuit in Facultate Philosophica SJ Cracoviae (1955–1958), theologiae vero in Facultate Theologica SJ Bobolanum Varsaviae (1958–1962). Studia philosophica prorsecutus? est in Universitate Gregoriana Romae (1963–1966), ubi gradum quoque doctoratum (Ph.D.) obtinuit, et Monachii in Germania (1966–1967). Ab anno 1990 fuit professor ordinarius. Ab anno 1967 Darowski philosophiam, imprimis anthropologiam philosophicam, in Facultate Philosophica SJ Cracoviae, nunc Academia Ignatianum, docuit. Decanus fuit Facultatis Philosophicae (1968-1982, 1994-1997, 2001-2007) et rector Collegii Societatis Jesu Cracoviae (1978–1984). Fuit fundator et primus editor (1996-2006) foliorum in variis linguis redactorum "Forum Philosophicum". Anno 2003 membrum Commissionis Historiae Scientiae et Technologiae in Polona Scientiarum Academia factus est.
Scripta a Darowski edita pertinent potissimum ad anthropologiam philosophicam et ad historiam philosophiae in Polonia, praecipue philosophiae a iesuitis excultae. Publici iuris fecit quindecim libros et plus quam 300 commentarios, ex quibus supra quinquaginta in alienis linguis.

Eius philosophia inspirationem sumit in traditione Aristotelica et Thomistica. Sed respectum habet etiam ad recentiores et nostri temporis tendentias in philosophia, potissimum personalistas et axiologicas et in certo sensu etiam dialogicas (cf. Philosophical Anthropology, imprimis cap. “Human Being as a Dialogical Being”, p. 123–126). Nec vitat novas aquisitiones scientiarum vitalium (life-sciences), quas integrare satagit cum philosophia (cf. ibidem cap. “Human Corporeality” (p. 38-43) et “The Origin of Human Being” (p. 95-99). Eius reflexiones, praesertim in suis studiis primis, non pauca prae se ferunt descriptionis elementa methodo phaenomenologicae propria.
