Monstrum Lacus Agnetis[2] (Scotice Gadelice Uilebheist Loch Nis,[3] Anglice Loch Ness Monster), Nessie et Niseag[4] vulgo ex annis 1940 appellatum,[5] in cryptozoologia et gentiliciis moribus Scoticis est animal cryptidum, quod Lacum Agnetis in terris altis Scoticis habitare dicitur. Saepe magnum, collo longo unoque plurimisve gibberibus super superficiem aquae prominentibus describitur. Studium fidesque hominum in hoc animal ex anno 1933 variantur, cum primum in lucem prolatum esset. Eius proprietatum indicia sunt fabulosa tantum, photographematibus disputatis et responsis sonar non exceptis.

Eruditi scientifici, monstrum rem sine realibus fundamentis biologicis esse habentes, eius aspectus fraudes, effectus cogitationis desiderabilis, et res quotidianas false agnitas existimant.[6] Eius autem propositum binomen taxinomicum est Nessiteras rhombopteryx, quod litteras Anglicas monster hoax ('fraudem monstrosam') comprehendit.[7]
