Garcinia indica (binomen ab Iacobo Dionysio Choisy anno 1824 statutum) est species arborum fructiferarum in India occidentali sponte crescens, ibique interdum culta propter fructus e quibus sucus potabilis paratur. Fructus exsiccati, Latinitate communi brindones appellati,[1] in arte coquinaria gustu amaro et colore rubro utiles sunt.
