Fertigatio (ab Anglicis fertilization 'laetamen' + irrigation 'inrigatio') est ratio laetaminum aliarumque rerum liquido solubilium iniciendarum in systema irriguum ad solum aquamque emendandas.

Fertigatio cum chemigatione cognata est, iniectione chemicarum in systema irriguum. Quae bina vocabula aliquando inter se confunduntur; chemigatio autem plerumque est ratio plus moderata et regulata ob naturam chemicarum adhibitarum, quae saepe insecticidas, herbicidas, fungicidasque implicat, quorum nonnullae hominibus, animalibus, circumiectisque naturalibus minantur.
