Aphroditeola est monotypicum genus fungorum ordinis Agaricalium quod rosea basidiocarpia cantharelloidea in solis silvarum coniferarum gignit.

Lamellae furcatae sunt, et basidiocarpiis plerumque est odor suaveolens, cuppediarum similis, sicut cinnamomum vel gummis rosea pictus. Saeculo vicensimo in Hygrophoropsi usitate describebatur, genere in Boletalibus posito. Hygrophoropsis autem basidiosporas dextrinoideas habet,[1][2] quibus Aphroditeola caret. Per phylogeniam, Aphroditeola in Agaricalibus describitur.[3] Haud multum eius biologiae scitur, sed typus generis ex basidiosporis in cultura pura coli potest, qui mycelium a roseo ad colorem aurantiacum rubentem producit.[4][5] Varii auctores typum generis Hygrophoropsem morganii vel Hygrophoropsem olidam appellant, vel male Hygrophoropsem rufescentem, binomen falsum.

Nomen Aphroditeola Aphroditen, deam Graecam, attingit propter mixturam colorum pulchorum et odorem sicut unguentum iucundum.
