Penryn est oppidum comitatús Cornubiae ad occidentalem partem Angliae extremam iacentis. Ibi nundinae tenebantur ab anno 1236, mercatus autem ab anno 1259.[1] Collegium de Glasneth hic floruit, ab episcopo Exoniensi Gualtero Bronscomb anno 1265 conditum, anno 1548 dissolutum.
