Georgius Gordon Byron, sextus Baro Byron, deinde George Gordon Noel, sextus Baro Byron (Londinii natus die 22 Ianuarii 1788; Mesolongii Graeciae die 19 Aprilis 1824 mortuus), vulgo tantum Dominus Byron[1][2] (Anglice Lord Byron) appellatus, fuit poeta Anglicus, philhellenista, unusque ex ducibus Motus Romantici. Nepos classis praefectus Ioannis Byron, et Scholae Harrovianae et Collegii Trinitatis apud Cantabrigienses alumnus fuit. Amasius fuit Carolinae Lamb aliarumque et iuvenis aliorum. Ada filia fuit mathematica satis illustris. Asteroides 3306 Byron ex eo nuncupatus est.
