Rudolphus Laban[1] (15 Decembris 18791 Iulii 1958), alumnus scholae bellarum artium Lutetiae in urbe, fuit artifex et ratiocinator saltationis, unus ex Europaeis saltationis modernae praecursoribus. Sua opera fundamenta iecerunt Explicationis Motionis Labanianae, Labanotationis,[2] aliarum notionum certiorum in notatione saltationis, evolutionisque multarum varietatum Studii Motionis Labaniani. Habetur unus ex hominibus maximi momenti in historia saltationis.[3]
