Remanentia[1] (Anglice remanence; Theodisce Remanenz) est magnetismus qui in re ferromagnetica (sicut ferrum) manet postquam externus campus magneticus amovetur. Quae etiam est mensura illius magnetizationis.[2] Magnes sermone quotidiano magnetizatus proprietatem remanentiae habere dicitur.[3] Remanentia rerum magneticarum memoriam magneticam in apparatibus coacervationis magneticae praebet, ac fons informationis de priore telluris campo magnetico in palaeomagnetismo adhibetur.
