Petrus T. Daniels (natus 11 Decembris 1951) est systematum scripturae eruditus typologiaeque peritus. Edidit cum Gulielmo Bright librum The World's Writing Systems (1996), atque vocabula abdiad ("abecedarium" sine litteris vocalium) et abugida (ratio partim alphabetica, partim syllabica), hodiernas appellationes linguisticas pro categoriis scriptorum, introduxit; quae vocabula sensu strictiore ab eruditis in provinciis abecedarii Arabici scriptique Ge'ez olim adhibita erant, ex quibus linguis proprie mutuata sunt.

Universitatem Chicaginiensem et Universitas Cornelliana frequentavit, linguisticae studens. Professor fuit in Universitate Visconiensi Milvauciae et Universitate Civica Chicaginiensi docuit. Crucigrammata cryptica eum tenent, et sententiolas saepe in publicum in rec.puzzles.crosswords, interretiali nuntiorum grege, proponit. Typographus librum The Foundations of Latin Philippi Baldi in typis posuit.[1]
