Orthogenesis
Orthogenesis[1] est hypothesis quae adfirmat ens vitae inclinationem innatam ad se evolvendam modo unilineare ob certam vim agentem internam aut externam. Haec coniectura, in essentialismo et teleologia cosmica condita, proponet agenturam in se ipsa positam quae species lente convertit. Georgius Gaylord Simpson, notionem orthogenesis insectans (1953), hanc agenturam vim interiorem occultam[2] appellavit.[3] Optimi orthogenesis suasores doctrinam selectionis naturalis ut machinatio in evolutione ordinans, doctrinasque speciationis pro rectilineari evolutionis ductae exemplari repudiaverunt quae in speciebus distinctis "essentiis" agunt. Nomen orthogenesis a Theodoro Eimer vulgatum est, quamquam multae ex eius notionibus multo vetustiores erant.[4]
Definitio
[recensere | fontem recensere]Verbum orthogenesis primum a biologo Gulielmo Haacke anno 1893 adhibitum est. Theodorus Eimer autem fuit primus qui definitionem verbi scripsit; orthogenesis definivit "lex generalis quae adfirmat progressum evolutionarium in cursu qui observari potest fieri, praesertim in gregibus propriis."[5][6]
