Lipolysis

Molecula triacyloglyceroli (TAG, "pingue") in adipocyto (cellula adipata) invenitur. Lipolyse TAG gradatim in acida adipata tria sua secatum est. Productum terminale est glycerolum.

Lipolysis est iter metabolicum, quo cellulae corporis pingui materiam pinguem tollitur.

Intra cellulam, adipocytum[1], pingue moleculae triacyloglyceroli (TAG). Lipolysis enzymorum lipolyticorum ope gradatim moleculas TAG secat:

  1. Triacyloglycerolum (TAG) → Diacyloglycerolum (DAG)
  2. Diacyloglycerolum (DAG) → Monoacyloglycerolum (MAG)
  3. Monoacyloglycerolum (MAG) → Glycerolum

Ope hormontum et quorundam medicamentorum et aliarum substantiarum lipolysis et augeri et inhiberi queat. In senectute lipolysis diminuta est[2], quod incrementum ponderis pinguis haud minore in parte explicat.
