Galagidae[1] sunt familia parvorum primatum nocturnorum[2] subordinis Strepsirrhinorum, quae in Africa Africa Subsahariana continentali endemica sunt, grex sororius familiae Lorisidarum putatae.[3][4] Galagidae varietate abundantiaque sunt felicissimi strepsirrhinorum primates in Africa, secundum African Wildlife Foundation.[5]

Classificatio[recensere | fontem recensere]

Galagidae in sex genera hodie digeruntur. Euoticus est basalis taxon sororium omnium aliorum galagidarum.[3] Indicia genitica et enodatio vocationum morphologiaeque monstrant galagidas nuper in genus Galagoidem digestas re vera in binis cladis consistere, qui taxa sororia non sunt, et in Africa Orientali et Media habitant, a Valle Fissionis Africae Orientalis separatae. Hae sunt basales omnium aliorum galagidarum non Euoticus, sed illae sunt soror Galagonis et ad statum generis nomine Paragalagonis nuper levantur.[6] Praeterea, genera Otolemur et Sciurocheirus sunt sorores.[6]
