Archeuptychia est monotypicum papilionum subfamiliae Sayrinarum genus, cuius sola species, Archeuptychia cluena, in Brasilia endemica est.[1] Primum huius speciei binomen fuit Papilio cluena, a Drury anno 1782 descriptum.[2] Genus a Forster anno 1964 erectum est.[3]
