Religiosa Amicorum Sodalitas, cuius sodales vulgo Tremebundi[1] etiam Quackeri[2] (ex Anglico Quakers 'Qui Tremunt') appellantur, condita est in Anglia saeculo septimo decimo denominatio Christiana, a male contenti qui denominationes Christianitatis repudiaverunt. . . .

Aequalitas humanam tutatur et poenam capitalem opposuit et contra militiam fuit. Anno 1947 Religiosa Amicorum Sodalitas Praemium Nobelianum Pacis Componendae accepit.
