Meghālaya (scriptura Devanagari मेघालय, quod nomen Sanscrite sonat "Domus Nimborum"), anno 1972 constituta, est civitas in regione boreali ad orientem versus Indiae circiter 2.702.000 incolarum (anno 2008). Huius civitatis caput est Shillong. Linguae cotidianae sunt Khasi, Garo et Anglica. Pro maiori parte (70%, anno 2001) incolae se Christianos esse profitentur, et praecipue Baptistas.
