Fungi regnum est organismorum viventium non autotrophorum. Organismi regno isti pertinentes nucleum habent in cellulis clausum, qua re eukaryota dicuntur, et eneregia lucis capere non possunt ( heterotrophi). Fungi pluricellulari e filamentis constant in cellulis a septis plurimis transversalibus seiunctis. Parietes filamentorum istorum chitinam habent et non cellulosam (substantia parietum cellularum plantarum).
