Useful information

Are you from the Tatnall School? If so, perhaps you could pass this information on to your classmates.

1. If you begin a page that duplicates something we already have, it will be certainly be merged or deleted. So you need to check this first. One good way to check is to find the page about it in the English Wikipedia, and look on the left to see if there is a link to a Latin page. If not, there's a good chance you are starting something new.
2. We aren't very generous to anonymous additions. If we can't understand them, they are often deleted at once. It's much better to use a named account (like this one).
3. If you leave a message on a talk page, sign it with 4 tildes, like this: ~~~~.

Nice to see you back, Analeigh. There is one more thing we maybe need to say: Vicipaedia pages are open to all, so we can't stop others editing and improving what you and your friends begin. They may or they may not. That's the way wikis are. As an example, you see how far the article Cinerella, which you began, has developed already. We find that some teachers can accept this, and give credit not just for what you write, but for what you produce by collaboration!
