ʾUbaydiya
ʾUbaydiya (Hebraice עובידיה, apud archaeologos Ubeidiya) est locus in valle inferiori fluminis Iordanis ubi a mense Maio 1959 reperta sunt vestigia habitationis hominum speciei Hominis erecti) aevis culturalibus Oldowayo tardo Acheulioque, aevo mammalifero Villafranchio(de), inter annos circiter 1 600 000 et 1 200 000 a.p. frequentatae.
Species animalium, cuius ossa apud ʾUbaydiya recognoscuntur, sunt Lagurodon arnakae, Mimomys sp., Microtus sp., Ursus etruscus, Megantereon cf. whitei, Mammuthus meridionalis, Stephanorhinus etruscus etruscus, Lycaon lycaonoides = Xenocyaon falconeri.[1]
