Stigma (religio)
Stigma (Graece,[1][2]στίγμα, pl. Stigmata[3]) est miraculum et res Catholicismi attingens signum, ulcerem vel dolorem in locis corporis congruentibus ad vulnera crucis supplicium crucifixionarum[4] Iesu, eiusmodi in manu pedisque, nonnunquam in carpis manibus. Verbum oritur ex fine epistola[5] Sancti Pauli ad Galatianos quae dicat " ego enim stigmata Domini Jesu in corpore meo porto". (Gal 6:18)[6] Verbum stigmata significat signum agnoscendi servi vel animalis possesionis. Ille qui stigma portet attingi potest ut stigmaticus vel stigmatista.[7] Stigmatistae notae sunt Sanctus Franciscus, Catharina Senensis et Pater Pius cuius stigmata[8] investigabantur a variis medicis 50 annos qui non infectos videbant neque causas rationes scientificarum intelligere poterant.
