Ibn Bībī, qui saeculo XIII exeunte floruit, e familia Persa ortus, fuit cancellarius sultanatús Rumensis, Iconii constituti. Fuit etiam auctor historiae eiusdem civitatis ab anno 1192 (quando Caichosroës I regere incepit) usque ad 1280, Persice scriptae. Textus originalis in uno libro manu scripto servatur Constantinopoli servato (Aya Sofya 2985). Epitome Turcice scripta est, titulo Seljukname recognita.
