Salve, Anthony!

Gratus in Vicipaediam Latinam acciperis!

Ave! Spero te "Vicipaedianum" fieri velle!

It's a good thing you have created a named account, because it makes it possible to explain to you why your pages have often been deleted. It's because they contain serious falsehoods, and Wikipedia cannot accept serious falsehoods about living or recently deceased persons.

An example of such a falsehood is this: about David Ogden Stiers‎ you said that he committed suicide. In this case, you were lucky: IacobusAmor noticed the problem, checked through your page, and corrected this and other mistakes, so the page survives. But if a new page evidently contains a really serious falsehood, and other things that may or may not be true, you can't be sure that other Vicipaedians will have time to check it fully: they might think it safer to delete the page.

I guess that this happens because you don't understand any Latin, and you copy text from one page to another without knowing what it means. Forgive me if I'm wrong about this, and please feel free to tell me the real reason!

Let me add that the template {{Myrias}}, which you currently add to your new pages, is unsuitable for them. Please don't add it to future pages. Thanks! Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 18:21, 6 Martii 2018 (UTC)[reply]
