Note: it should actually be "Amicitia", not "Amicita". Can someone please move this?Ibidus (disputatio) 20:48, 13 Iunii 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ridiculous[fontem recensere]

Is this article becoming junk? You don't need to list every fan stuff.

Wow, this article really sucks. I'ma fix it up... to the best of my ability, of course. One problem I'm having is the character names. Most foreign translation Wiki pages simply use the English names, but since Latin is so highly inflected, it's gonna be hard to fit them into writing.

Using the Russian page (because Russian is another major IE language that has full noun inflection) as an example, I can see a rather strange precedent: some of the words in character names are translated ("Twilight", "Sparkle", "Rainbow"), but some aren't (the rest), and (it being Cyrillic, perhaps not the best example) phonetically transcribed instead. Confusingly, one is actually a mix of both ("Rainbow" translated, "Dash" transcribed).

Can't you likewise use the original (English) names or is this desired(to not use English)?Jondel (disputatio) 04:05, 7 Augusti 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I rewrote the fandom section, improved mane 6 sectin and added something to the villains section. I'll probably add some more tomorrow :P Feel free to improve/correct/edit

I'm going to change the latinitas macro to -1, I think it's fairly decent now (I still didn't rewrite "Other pony" section). Someone please re-check it for mistakes.

Greetings. I've moved from "My Little Pony: Amicitia Magia Est" to "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic". I believe we cannot blend English and Latin in names of movies and tv-programs, nor give it a Latin name unless we have a source. But I have written a Latin name to this article after the English name.

removed non-stipula flag[fontem recensere]

Since the title is now correctly given in English (our usual custom), there's no question of a Latin source for it. There are internal links. The page is hardly flawless, but it is certainly of suitable magnitude to be called "stipula" or even "actual page," so I've removed the non-stipula formula. I have not taken the time to clean up the Latin or to fish around in Commons for an illustration: I'm not claiming this is a good page, just that it only needs some kinds of corrections, not others. Inter desideria est hoc: "Nexus extra-Vicipaedianus . . . qui . . . rem ipsam satis corroboret." Ubi est nexus extravicipaedianus qui rem ipsam confirmat? :o IacobusAmor (disputatio) 16:10, 23 Februarii 2016 (UTC)[reply]
There was none, but it was quicker to find one than to prolong this discussion. I have just done both things, so I know :) Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 16:30, 23 Februarii 2016 (UTC)[reply]
