Monaci Bavariae[fontem recensere]

UV, when you say Monaci Bavariae, do you mean for Bavaria to be in the genitive or the locative? If the former, then fine. If the latter, then it should be Monaci in Bavaria, since regions don't have locative forms. --Iustinus 22:25, 21 Ianuarii 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Probably I was thinking of the genitive, as e. g. Italian calls Munich "Monaco di Baviera" in order to distinguish it from Monaco "Monaco". My intention was exactly to clarify that we deal with the city in Bavaria here, not the independent State.
