Etymologia
[recensere | fontem recensere]Secundum Oxford English Dictionary, verbum Graecum antiquum anemōnē 'filia venti' significat, ex verbo ἄνεμος 'ventus' et suffixo patronymico feminino -ōnē[4] ; sed alii putant hanc explicationem verbi esse etymologiam popularem (Anglice: folk etymology), et verbum revera ex linguis Semiticis deduci.[5]
