I blocked you ...[fontem recensere]

briefly for edit-warring. It's a waste of time. Articles on Vicipaedia have to follow the Vicipaedia style, which includes numbers and dates in Arabic numerals. Writers of Latin have generally used this system for the last 500 years or so. If you want to work with us, just say so here, and any admin will unblock you. I hope you will.

I'm writing in English because your edit summary was in English. If you prefer Latin, please say so and I'll write in Latin. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 21:05, 16 Februarii 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Forgive me, I didn't realize you were editing too. Thanks for letting me know about Arabic numerals. I will try to improve the text. Congratulations on your knowledge of Latin. --AEOS1130 (disputatio) 20:07, 17 Februarii 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Then I do forgive you, and I apologise for blocking you somewhat hastily. You are now unblocked in any case. Go ahead, enjoy editing. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 21:06, 17 Februarii 2021 (UTC)[reply]
... but Vicipaedia requires real Latin. See also the comments on my talk page and at Disputatio Usoris:IacobusAmor. The page you have written is not in Latin, and will be deleted in a few days if not improved. Since we cannot understand your text and therefore cannot help you, my best advice is this: if you are learning Latin and want the page to survive, ask your teacher to help you rewrite the text.
