Disputatio Categoriae:Vicecomes
SHould really be vicecomites, since categories default to plural. --Iustinus 19:14, 2 Martii 2007 (UTC)
- Also... why is this in caegories Domus Regnatrices and Incolae Italiae? Since when is "Viscount" an Italian dynasty? --Iustinus 03:35, 11 Decembris 2008 (UTC)
- Since never ... but Visconti was :) Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 12:48, 11 Decembris 2008 (UTC)
- Oh... man.... Silly me, I guess. I guess this category is safe for the reason I list above: presumably categoria:vicecomites covers viscounts, and categoria:vicecomes covers the Visconti family--which is ironic since Visconti is plural in Italian! Frankly though I would have preferred this to be named domus Viscontina or the like, but I guess it'll do as it is. However, now that you've pointed this out to me I see Vicecomes is about the Visconti family, not about the title viscount. Surely that should not be so? --Iustinus 18:11, 11 Decembris 2008 (UTC)
- I merely brought you up to date on a matter that formerly puzzled me ... On the correct naming of articles on Italian noble families, I bow to others more closely involved. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 18:32, 11 Decembris 2008 (UTC)
