Blind faith[fontem recensere]

Superstitio ? Fide caeca? How do we translate?--Jondel 07:27, 24 Februarii 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, the phrase "fides caeca" exists. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 13:37, 24 Februarii 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Nice to get confirmations! But I wouldn't be surprised to find Blind faith as the translation for "Superstitio" in a Loeb book (or other classics).--Jondel 00:23, 25 Februarii 2010 (UTC)[reply]
My impression of "superstitio" is that it's really more the things one believes that aren't strictly part of one's religion—at any rate a result of blind faith, but not the thing itself. —Mucius Tever 05:41, 26 Februarii 2010 (UTC)[reply]
