Salinae would probably be a better Latinization, as the Spanish name Salinas is in the plural. Another option would be Salinopolis. [-- Anon]

That makes good sense, and I have moved the page. If a source for this Latin name turns up, great. If not, we might stick with "Salinae" anyway, since it's a straight translation of a common Spanish word. We wouldn't invent "Salinopolis", which would be an unnecessary mix of Latin and Greek, I think.
