English or Imperial?[fontem recensere]

Pantocrator, were you going for en:English units or en:Imperial units? --Ioscius 14:46, 2 Martii 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Both. Few wikis have separate articles on the two, and they're logically one. Why did you remove my comment about their being derived from ancient Roman measures? That's the most important thing for our purposes. Pantocrator 23:13, 4 Martii 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Actually that was a careless mistake. I should put it back and say more about it. I got a little confused that day both by la: and en: and the circle of links from one to another. En: is terribly confused and terribly sparse on the subject of Roman measurements and I got caught up in their mess. I saw there were two articles, and I just waited until I heard from you to go any further with it.
Would it hurt to have two articles?--Ioscius 23:24, 4 Martii 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I restored Pantocrator's information about the derivation from Roman measures, which is surely true, isn't it? An anonymous is calling them Anglosaxon, but that's wrong, I think. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 08:45, 21 Aprilis 2014 (UTC)[reply]
