Category question

I see that Andrew has reduced the categories to a single one, for all songs. In setting up "Carmina 1978" and "Carmina 2008," I was emulating en:, which categorizes each song by the year when it was composed or first produced. The single-category procedure may work for now, but won't the category become rather unwieldy after it's got several hundred thousand entires in it? or even 10,000?! I didn't notice it was you, Iacobe ... Sorry. By all means revert me if you want. But it's no use making redlink categories: it just means the article cannot be found at all by the category route. If you imagine a new category, and make it a redlink at the foot of a page, you have to finish the job: actually create the new category and link it to more general categories.
