Cantbrigia? Cantabria is a region in Spain. Cantabrigia (Cambridge) is not the same.

How about? Duroliponte? --77.191.210.85 07:14, 14 Septembris 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I don't understand the point of the first comment. Cantabrigia is very well attested as the medieval and modern Latin name for Cambridge. Cantabrigia is not the same as Cantabria, so there's no problem, surely?
Durolipons (ablative/locative Duroliponte) is a good thought, but (unless there's some recent evidence I don't know) it is uncertain whether Latin Duroliponte, as listed in the Antonine Itinerary, equals Cambridge or not. It was certainly somewhere in the region, but has been identified with other localities as well as Cambridge. I think Cantabrigia remains the best choice for our article on Cambridge.
