This should probably be linked to en:Union suit or longjohns or underwear(and latin content made consistent with the link). Otherwise, delete?--Jondel (disputatio) 03:35, 25 Octobris 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Move to Bracae (trousers)?Jondel (disputatio) 03:37, 25 Octobris 2012 (UTC)[reply]

or subligaculum (loincloth)?Jondel (disputatio) 05:15, 25 Octobris 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This was not trousers. It may be a bit like a loincloth, but we already have the article subligaculum. I think what was described here is imaginary, linked to the word "Bacchae" because of a misunderstood image. If I'm wrong after all, let someone cite a source :)
I have [deleted and] locked the article. If anyone wants to re-create it, please explain here, and cite a Latin source. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 08:34, 25 Octobris 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Because of the links to trousers and such, bra(c)cae is what first comes to mind. Certainly an article on bra(c)cae is wanted, but the current text, on a supposed bacchae, isn't it (and should be deleted?). IacobusAmor (disputatio) 11:46, 25 Octobris 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The same user has now started the same article at Bracae, where it loosely fits, so I will move this discussion there. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 17:52, 26 Octobris 2012 (UTC)[reply]
