Eduardus, vulgo Edward Lear (iuxta Holloway Middelsexiae natus die 12/13 Maii 1812; ad Villam Matutiam Italiae die 29 Ianuarii 1888 mortuus) fuit poëta et pictor Anglicus, tempore suo et apud posteriores carminum ludicrorum compositor laudatissimus sed propter topia inter artium amatores celeber.
