Peucestas, filius Alexandri cuiusdam, urbis Miezae in Macedonia incola, fuit sectator Alexandri Magni, somatophylax regis, et satrapa Persidis ab anno 324 a.C.n. usque ad 316; a quo anno, in proelio victus, se Antigono reddidit. Fuit Antigoni et Demetrii Poliorcetae sectator et aulicus usque ad annos fere 294/287 a.C.n.
