Leucaemia myeloides acuta (ICD-10: G92.0[1]) est morbus sanguinis cum proliferatione et differentiatione praecursorum medullae ossium sine functione in cellulas immaturas haematopoieticas[2].

Ad leucaemiam myeloides acutam tractandam chemotherapia pernecesse est. Scopus tractationis est adventus remissionis. Effectus chemotherapiae redigantur resistentia contra medicamenta, metastasi et relapso causa. Radiotherapia quoque et transplantatio medullae ossium tractationis in usu sunt.

Adhuc (anno 2015) in orbe terrarum decies centena milia homines aegri erant et 147,000 deciderunt[3].
