Hmm. This would include Robertus Ludovicus Stevenson. Don't we also want to allow for writers who live anywhere in the world but consider themselves Samoan? And likewise all other ethnicities? And with, for example, sculpture, there's a famous Swede who lives in Samoa; is he a Swedish sculptor? or a Samoan one? or both? And likewise Auden & Eliot: Auden, when asked whether he was an American poet, told his interlocutor to go ask Eliot, and whichever characterization Eliot claimed, Auden would be the other.
