Mutuata[fontem recensere]
Just for my information: why are the words in this category and similar categories to be 'borrowing words' (verba mutuata), rather than just plain 'words'? The analogous categories in Wikipedia seem to be "Hawaiian words and phrases," "Japanese words and phrases," and so on. (They're sorted by language, not region, but Vicipaedia probably won't have enough Polynesian ones to justify categories for each Polynesian language, so I've grouped them under the region; that could of course be changed.) - Mutuor est verbum deponens: ergo, participium non est passivum, et verbum mutuatum significat 'a borrowing word'. Or is this one of that small set of deponents whose past participles actually are passive? My dictionaries don't speak to this point. IacobusAmor 17:16, 19 Novembris 2009 (UTC)
