Glossarium pedilusorium
[fontem recensere]Paginam glossarii pedilusorii creavi ubi disputationes habere possumus: Vicipaedia:Glossarium pedilusorium. Illic optimum locum ad consentiendum de vocabulis pedilusoriis esse credo.--Spurius Minucius (disputatio) 23:27, 10 Septembris 2015 (UTC)
Follis + pila
[fontem recensere]Why follis instead of pila? In Classical Latin games involving a ball were called pila (Seneca).Cruxcruxem (disputatio) 19:32, 21 Februarii 2021 (UTC)
- Traupman's dictionary (2007) defines football (the ball) as pedifollis and says the game is pedifollium and pediludium. It defines baseball (the ball) as basipila. and says the game is basipilae lusus. It says a ball in general ("for playing") is pila, but an inflated one is a follis. "eu" ?
[fontem recensere]In the photo caption, where "eu" is questioned, was it intended to mean European Union, perhaps? Toddcs (disputatio) 14:14, 6 Octobris 2023 (UTC)
