Because Hvalfjord ("Ballaenarum sinus") is a place in Island, the local name should be followed. I find "Hvalfjordensis" unobjectionable – unless a source can be cited for "Hualfiordiensis" . --Neander 02:49, 13 Iulii 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well I didn't find any better word for "tunnel". The name of the article is not attested, I simply made it from Hvalfjordus which is my own latinization of Hvalfjörður. Should Hvalfjörður be named "Ballaenarum sinus"? Should Reykjavík then also be called "Fumorum sinus"? I would personally prefer Hvalfjordus (or a better translation) to a direct Translations (even though Tabanorum lacus is a calque translation of Mývatn).. --BiT 22:51, 15 Iulii 2008 (UTC)[reply]
