In classical Latin th eanimal is Crocodilus. The animal should be covered under Crocodilus. Crocodylus should be about the biological genus if need be, otherwise it should be a redirect. --Iustinus 01:55, 4 Martii 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm also not sure how this managed to get an l+1. Crocodylus sunt!? --Iustinus 17:02, 28 Februarii 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I removed it. It won't really deserve an L of any kind till it gets beyond a stub. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 18:08, 28 Februarii 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Commenting on the spelling issue: the animal known to the Romans is at Crocodylus niloticus. This page is about the genus, so I think it stands correctly at Crocodylus, the official zoological spelling. I will make Crocodilus a discretiva. I think that's the least complicated solution.
