Got it. mais ne fait pas partie de l'Institut de France "but does not form part of the Institut de France". Also, it never went to Poitiers: it went to the "rue de Poitiers" (Poitiers Street) in Paris. I thought that seemed odd. It just shows you can't trust en:wiki ...
